1.1 The terms and conditions of this document together with your booking and billing form comprise the agreement between Ski Chalet.Me and all those listed on the booking form, on whose behalf the group leader has signed. 1.2 “The group” refers to all persons booked to stay in the accommodation listed on the booking form. 1.3 If at any time, prior to the start of the holiday, there is a change of persons staying at the chalet, we must be notified in writing / via email.
2.1 Once availability has been confirmed by Ski Chalet.Me, a booking enquiry will be held for 10 days, pending receipt of the appropriate deposit of £50 per guest and the completed booking form. 2.2 Thereafter the booking will be deemed cancelled and we reserve the right to re-book the period without notification. 2.3 The total amount outstanding on your holiday must be paid no later than 28 days before the arrival. For bookings made within the 28 day period, the full cost of the holiday will be payable at the time of booking. 2.4 If the final balance is not received 28 days prior to the day the holiday commences Ski Chalet.Me reserve the right to cancel the booking and any deposits paid will be forfeited (every effort will be made to contact the client to remind them of payment dates). We then reserve the right to re-book the chalet without further notice.
Cancellation by you
3.1 All changes and cancellations must be made in writing and received by email no later than 10 days before the arrival date. 3.2 Within the 10 day notification period a refund of total payment already paid minus your deposit will be given.

4.1 In unforeseen circumstances and for reasons outside our control, we reserve the right to cancel your holiday, and to return all money you have paid to us including the deposits, or offer you an alternative holiday to purchase if you wish to do so.
Holiday Insurance
5.1 Skiing, snowboarding and other outdoor pursuits can be dangerous both on and off piste. Therefore you MUST be insured for the entire duration of your stay, please ensure winter sports/outdoor activities, health and hire car covers are in place as well as travel and holiday cancellation cover.
Ski Chalet.Me does not accept any liability, or pay compensation for: 6.1 Any event which we could not foresee or avoid (ie. war, political unrest, weather, strikes, acts of God, epidemics, riots, civil strife, industrial disputes, terrorist activity, natural or technical disasters, nuclear war) 6.2 Any cancellation, loss, delay or costs arising or connected with adverse weather or traffic conditions, avalanche, mud slips, slides and snow conditions and the effect any of these may have on travel arrangements, accommodation and activities. 6.3 Limitations imposed by resort authorities, ski-lifts, ski school, ski hire operators or by any external companies such as aqua parks. 6.4 Travel arrangements made by the group or on behalf of the group. 6.5 Any personal injury, illness or death caused to any visitor and/or any member of the group for their duration of stay. 6.6 This is not intended to exclude any statutory rights the group and/or visitor may have. 6.7 A person who is not a party to this Contract has no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce any term of this Contract.
Flights and transfers
7.1 You are responsible for booking your own flights and other appropriate travel arrangements. Ski Chalet.Me can not accept any responsibility for problems with your flights, delays or transfers.
Responsibilities, behaviour and property damage
8.1 If a guests behaviour is adjudged by the staff of Ski Chalet.Me as antisocial and also detrimental to other guests staying at the chalet and/or have a negative effect on the reputation, we reserve the right to terminate their holiday on grounds of antisocial behaviour with no refund to their loss of holiday. 8.2 If a guest damages any property of Ski Chalet.Me the person/s involved will have to pay the full recommended retail price for the damaged goods and items. Failure to pay will result in appropriate legal action and the Retainer Fee will not be refunded. 8.3 Under no circumstances must there be any persons to stay overnight in the property other than persons/group stated on the contract with Ski Chalet.Me. If a client is in breach of the terms and conditions we reserve the right to refuse to further accommodate them and contractual obligations will be terminated immediately.
9.1 No matter how much care is taken, our chalet is not childproof. We will not be held responsible for any accidents occurring within the chalet, it is the parent’s responsibility to ensure their children are supervised at all times. 9.2 Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. The minimum age of independent travel and booking with us is 18 years of age.
10.1 For health and safety reasons smoking is strictly prohibited within the chalet.
If you have a complaint
11.1 We do try to ensure your holiday with us is as enjoyable as possible. If you have a complaint please: A) whilst on holiday - immediately inform us either by text or phone us, we will try to put things right quickly. B) on your return home - within 28 days follow up your complaint by writing to us.
